Funding

A grant shall not exceed $1,000 per acre, with an annual maximum of $25,000 per grant.

Eligibility Requirements

The applicant must:

own 20 contiguous acres of land in Florida suitable for a vineyard,
have an established producing vineyard, or be able to demonstrate sufficient agricultural experience to grow grapes,
commit to planting sufficient vineyard to achieve at least five total acres (existing plus proposed acreage), and
have a sales contract for grapes with a winery, juice processor, or a grape growers cooperative association.

Deadline

Proposals and accompanying applications are due each year by September 1 for approval in October. Depending on the availability of funds, applications may also be accepted by March 15 th for approval in May.
